LifeRing Training in Honolulu

Writer's picture: LifeRingLifeRing

From Eddie Merseraux, Case Facilitator of North Shore Access to Recovery (ATR) and Together — Strengthening Our Community Services (T-SOCS) in Honolulu:

  1. Date: July 15, 2010

  2. Time: 8am to 4:30pm

  3. Place: Hilo Hatties Conference Room (on Nimitz)

T-SOCS and Hawaii ATR invite you to an exciting and groundbreaking one day training on LifeRing recovery groups. The training will be presented by LifeRing Founder, Mr. Martin Nicolaus. Mr. Nicolaus will present an overview of the LifeRing philosophy and approach to recovery support, as well as providing training and support to potential LifeRing group conveners. The training is open to anyone who is interested in learning about an effective and powerful alternative to the 12 step approach to recovery from addiction. We are hopeful that this training will spark interest in starting a LifeRing recovery group (or groups) in Hawaii and in doing so, enrich and expand Hawaii’s existing system of recovery support groups.

Here are a few comments from LifeRing Participants:

“Now I have options … LifeRing saved my life.”

“Involvement in LifeRing means so much to me and my sobriety. It is by far the best experience I have had in my recovery.”

Go to www.lifering.org for more info about LifeRing

Space is limited to 40 participants so send an RSVP to this email address as soon as possible to reserve spaces.

Aloha,

Eddie
