Please Help With the “What is Recovery?” Survey

Writer's picture: LifeRingLifeRing

LifeRing is reaching out to all who’ve been involved with us so that we can be represented in this landmark project.  If you are a person in recovery, we hope that you will contribute your lived experiences to this important effort. Please go to WhatisRecovery.org.

The survey is being conducted nationwide by the Alcohol Research Group in an effort to gather basic information about recovery from the best source imaginable: people in recovery. It takes about 20 minutes. No identifying information is asked for or gathered and all participants are completely anonymous. We want to make sure that the LifeRing point of view is well-represented in the study, although, of course, all answers should be completely honest.

LifeRing  will not know whether you decide to participate or not; your participation is entirely voluntary.  The survey is anonymous and your answers will be confidential.  For more information about the project and to access the survey, please visit the study’s web site at

Please consider participating in this important project.  Go to the “What Is Recovery” web site (www.WhatIsRecovery.org) and add your voice.  Help broaden public understanding of recovery and help LifeRing become better known in the recovery world.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at liferingcolorado@gmail.com. Thank you for helping with this important research.
